Chromating Chemical

Surface-preparation mistakes lead to chromate-coating rejection. Every major or minor foul-up comes in time to correct after the fact. It typically takes multiple instances of rejection for them to learn that they were made already.

A chromate chemical forms a conversion layer that provides an excellent bond for the finishing system and corrosion resistance.

Chromate chemicals are suitable for use on different shapes and types of metal parts, such as: Sheets; Profiles; Castings; Fabricated components. Provided that the correct temperature and pH levels are maintained within the parameters of the chemical bath, all items will receive the same amount of chromate for that particular item type, and the colour produced after chromating will be the same.

Chromate manufacturers never use a "one-size-fits-all" approach, they will review each batch of chemicals before dispatching them to customers, and they continually adjust the recommendations for their use based on field performance data.

If your coating is peeling after being applied, the cause of the problem is typically due to the rinsing or contact time preceding the coating application not because of the chromating bath.

Regularly, supply deliveries are scheduled to industrial locations including coaters and fabricated fabricators around Gujarat and other industrialized regions within India. Within each location, both the job work and the continuous conveyor system will have adequate planned for these packing conditions to ensure that all deliveries are attainable on or before their respective due dates.

Chromating is not only for aesthetics, but is also used to provide an adequate level of protection against premature corrosion.

If your parts made from either aluminum or GI show premature corrosion and/or failure to hold paint, please do not arbitrarily change suppliers.
