The speed of action is a significant characteristic of acid. Too much speed can result in damage to the base metal during surface cleaning, thus, production quietly loses dollars. The use of an inhibitor chemical for control purposes, and not just an additive, is the location to maintain integrity of a chemical treatment system. We supply inhibitor chemicals to the Ahmedabad area for use in all types of Pickling, Derusting and Scale removal processes performed every day at your facility.

The primary purpose of the inhibitor chemical is to reduce metal attack during acid treatment and to allow for proper dissolution of rust and oxide. The manufacture inhibits over-etching of iron and steel components by minimizing weight loss and maintaining a stable surface texture with no rough or deep pits. Components such as sheets, pipes, fasteners, and fabricated parts remain in tolerance after cleaning.

Before packaging, each lot is tested; however, results from the shop floor are much more valuable than lab test results. If a component exits the cleaning process with dull or weak surfaces, we work with the shop operator to assess the strength of the bath and the amount of inhibitor used; usually, the variables contributing to the problem will be either an uncontrolled acid ratio or an increase in contact time. Although these may seem like minor adjustments (and they are), they can lead to a major reduction in the amount of time and money spent on reworking a component.
