Derusting Chemical

Temporary parts will rust when their lives (or processing times) are not as closely controlled as could be. They have time to accumulate rust until moved by some form of storage, transport or handling. The use of a derusting chemical becomes a useful tool and not just a way to correct the problem as soon as practical. At our facility in Ahmedabad, we manufacture derusting chemicals that allow for efficient and controlled removal of rust from metal surfaces.

Our derusting product will remove surface rust, scale, and oxide films from steel and iron parts, and prepare them for phosphating, painting or passivation. The chemical reaction is stable provided it is used at the proper concentration, resulting in clean parts that will not have deep etch or black stain from an improper final rinse. Fabricated Frame Structures (frames made up of structural steel), machine parts, fasteners and panels (including paint) will have good results if the process is followed properly.

Before product is shipped out from our facility it must pass inspection and testing at our facility. However, chemistry alone will not solve the rusting question. When flash rust develops on the part after using our product, we will review the final rinse water, drying time and ambient humidity of the customer’s shop with the customer. Many times, missing a step in the final process caused the flash rust condition. Process control is more important than the strength of the chemical.

Regularly, products are shipped from suppliers to manufacturing plants & workshops in Gujarat & other areas of the Indian manufacturing industry. Multiple packing styles can accommodate any size of job or batch quantity. Planning for delivery is driven by actual consumption.
