Oil does not naturally leave the surface of metal parts. Oil adheres to metal from machining, forming and handling operations. Degreasing is critical since if any step before painting, phosphating or chromating fails due to residual oil contamination, subsequent processes will be at risk.

We supply degreaser products made in Ahmedabad specifically for the production areas that routinely encounter heavy oil, cutting fluid and shop dirt daily.

Our degreaser product is designed to dissolve grease and carbon but not attack the substrate's base metal. The cleaners work well on steel parts such as frames, panels, machined components and when preparing for phosphating, chromating or painting. The reaction to the application is controlled, which means no foaming or uneven patches when applied at the appropriate temperature and dilution. Operators can visually determine when cleaning is complete.

Before each production batch is shipped, it is tested for performance and quality. While this will test and validate that the product performs well in controlled lab conditions, many problems with residual oil after treatment will require a look back at how the degreasers were used during production; specifically in terms of cleanliness of parts, dwell time, agitation during the soak period and bath load (total amount of material being put into the airflow). In many instances, the oil was left behind in the immersion phase before the application of degreaser or caused by the use of overused solution. Typically, a review of the process will provide more financial savings than switching materials.
